Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project Management from Estimating to Project Completion
- Downloads and catalogs bid documents.
- Attends pre-bid meetings.
- Solicits and maintains communication with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Demonstrates resourcefulness and creativity to gain the best pricing.
- Reviewing and understanding bid scope and requirements thoroughly
- Reviewing plans, specifications, and soils reports
- Quality takeoffs utilizing Bluebeam.
- Completing bids utilizing HCSS & Heavy Bid software
- Production reviews with the Chief Estimator and Chief Operations Officer
- Upon award, actively contributes to project pre-planning
- Attends industry and customer marketing events.
- Project file setup & turnover file setup
- Creating submittal packages from specifications
