The project was secured to stabilize a 1,150 ft section of Peters Creek within a floodplain wetland. North State Environmental worked in a design build relationship with a stream design engineer. Project components included channel grading to the stream’s proper dimension and excavation of three-point bars. A relic meander bend was filled, and wood toe with soil geolifts was implemented to stabilize this area. A boulder cluster was constructed to provide habitat.
